Just watched The Dark Night. Holy goodness Batman. Seriously. It was great. The before Christian Bale Batman's were all so campy and more enjoyable as a teenager/young adult but Bale as Batman is awesome. I love him as an actor. Rescue Dawn is awesome and I heard The Machinist is outstanding! Heath Ledger as the Joker. I never thought anyone could compare to Jack Nicholson but ............ Wow! His portrayal of the darker, more sinister, twisted Joker is breathtaking. He completely embodies and is overpowered by this awful character. Said to have played a part in his untimely death. So sad. The Dark Night is by far my favorite Batman to date. I like the earlier ones but this one I love!
